Arrey, in my school, they don’t just average all eight criteria—they take the best four from each subject’s criteria to calculate the final 1-7. That’s why the final grade can feel different from just adding up all your scores. I saw this clearly when my didi helped me with my MYP Personal Project grades last term. Honestly, it makes sense to focus on key areas, just like how in our football matches, we don’t count every practice, but the main matches decide the league standing.
