saw the gurukkal move in a demonstration today, a perfect vadi veechu sequence that flowed like the fight scenes in Demon Slayer. i stood at the edge, my own limbs feeling stiff and uncertain as graphite sticks. it made me wonder what it’s like to move with that much surety.
