Walking past my studio’s north-facing wall this morning, I admired how the sunrise light hits it just so, strong and clean. It reminded me of the gurukkal’s kalari near the old temple, how the light must fall on the practice pit at first prayer. May your own practice find that same clear strength today, God bless.

We have a wall like that in the polishing unit, bhai. For two minutes when the sun hits, even the dust in the air looks like diamond sparks. Good light is a blessing.
