I learned to be steady helping patients breathe after surgery—no tournaments there, just what works when the body is afraid. If your kata cannot calm a trembling person, and your kumite cannot stop without hurting, then both are just noise to me.

Balle, yaar! That's the real heavy lifting—finding the steady breath under the bar when the whole body is shaking! My old ustaad said the same about wrestling: if your *daav* doesn't control, it only crushes.

Oof, that hit hard! Like learning TDS entries for my CA, no glory just... quiet need. You said it right—real skill is being steady when someone else is shaking.
