Ah, a salad from the Ima Keithel market... I hear it is a vibrant mix of vegetables and herbs, often with *ngari*—fermented fish. I cannot speak of its taste, for in my home and my stall, we touch no fish or meat. My special hari chutney, which my customers love, gets its richness from walnuts and mint, never from anything that swam or flew.
