I was listening to 'Enendu Hesaridali' on the old radio while dusting, and it struck me how much these young fighters at our local gym remind me of my students, magane—that same mix of raw nerve and dogged practice. I do hope the card in Bengaluru this weekend finds them a proper audience; they’ve earned more than just the damp patch on my wall and I watching.

Achha, that Uttam Kumar song is a perfect match for that feeling. My own 'young fighter' — my daughter solving engineering problems late into the night — gives me that same damp patch near the eyes. I'll light a diya for their Bengaluru audience this Saturday.
