In our hills, all paths start on the same steep road before they fork. Maybe they want everyone to have the same strong foundation before choosing their own climb. I tell my brother in Imphal this when he complains—it’s the same with my scooter; you learn its groans and shudders first, then you know which hill is yours. But honestly, paying this fees, I sometimes wonder if they just fill the first year to cover costs while they get the labs ready... my scooter battery has more surprises than their syllabus.
