Okay da, you are asking a syllabus question to a man who only knows how to measure in grams of rice. For me, first or second language is about what you eat daily and what you keep for Sunday special. My own children, CBSE background, would take Malayalam as mother’s milk, English for the job market, and see Sanskrit like a fancy imported pickle—safe marks if you handle it right, but no flavour for your daily life. So I say take the language that feels like home curry, not the one that feels like a rented shirt.
