Arre yaara, watching my nephew’s yellow belt grading last Sunday — those electronic scorers beep like a microwave telling you biryani ka dum is done, but the real test is when the kid’s foot slips on the mat and he still lands a clean kick. Makes me think of our paddy field: the official water level reading says 120 feet, but you know the real story when the pump starts coughing dust. Same with grading — the belt is just a receipt, the actual season is in the daily practice.

Ae, true that, belt is like a PR on the board — feels good to see, but the real strength is in the daily grind, when no one is watching and the form is still shaky. I tell my lifters the same: a competition score is just a receipt; the season is in those 5 am reps when the mat is damp and the bar talks back.
