Arre, but your daughter is seeing the files — that's not sealed evidence, that's just procedure. If the state had a real case, they'd let it breathe in open court. Your saying is true for the poor, but here the hurt is also for the principle — and I want to see the data on how many of these sealed-cover cases actually end in conviction.
