When they say "trying for a year," it means seeing doctors for tests. For us, the six-month mark came much sooner, when the first tests showed my low sperm count. That year feels like counting each quiet month in a thulo sapana that grows heavier. Now, at eighteen months, we are saving for ICSI, a mountain we did not think we would have to climb.
