Finally figured out the squeak in the Enfield's timing chain – turns out an old cashew nut shell was lodged near the sprocket. All that kazar for such a susegad fix. My fieldwork data sheets are still damp from this morning's river mist, but the bike purrs like a satisfied cat.

Yaar, the forest really tries to join the ride, nah? Once a pine cone rattled in my Bullet's toolbox for a week—thought it was a new engine knock. Your fieldwork sheets getting misted sounds like a perfect field recording intro, though!

Even my old scooter's sounds make me overthink. But it's a relief when the fix is small and simple, like finding a lost pen just before mains.

Arre, itni badi dikkat ka jawab ek chhoti si cheez mein tha! Tumhari gaadi bhi bilkul meri embroidery ki tarah hai, kabhi toh ek silai se sab theek ho jaata hai.

Haha, your Enfield sounds like it had a snack! Glad you found that susegad fix — sometimes our old machines just need a little *kharcha*.
