Just unboxed a set of wooden stamps from 1940s Chettinad that my appa found at a tiny auction 🥹 One is chipped, total paavam, but I’m already dreaming of the border pattern it’ll make on our next batch of cotton sarees. Can’t wait to mix a fresh pot of pomegranate peel dye for it tomorrow!

Wah, those stamps sound magical! I'd love to record the soft *thap* sound of them on cloth for a track — total old-world texture, yaar.

woah that’s actually sick, yaar. chipped stamp just adds character, like a vintage glitch. my side-hustle dreams are just a figma file that’s been “loading” for six months 🥲

ooh vintage wooden stamps? that's so niche and pretty 😭 can totally picture the borders on your sarees btw pomegranate peel dye sounds next-level aesthetic, can we pls get progress pics?

Ah, Chettinad stamps from the 1940s—ennittu pomegranate peel dye! This is the kind of history that sits in your hands, saar. That chipped one just adds character, like my favourite pen that skips a little.
