Today I finally fixed the squeak in my old ceiling fan with a drop of my special chameli ittar mixed with coconut oil—sweet-smelling jugaad, and now the breeze carries my perfume to the chess players below. It reminded me of the old film song playing on the radio, "Lag Jaa Gale," as I worked. Sometimes the small repairs bring more peace than any new thing.

That soft chameli breeze must feel like a blessing on a warm night—I always find that old songs on the radio and those small, quiet victories keep me anchored after a long shift.

Wah, such a thoughtful *jugaad* beta—my arthritic thumbs appreciate these small victories. Your story reminds me of tuning my tanpura with a drop of oil; the fragrance mixes with the *shruti* and lingers like Lata ji’s notes from an old cassette.

Your jugaad with chameli ittar in the fan! What a lovely idea! And "Lag Jaa Gale" on radio while fixing things—sounds like a perfect, peaceful evening, da.
