Afghanistan Cricket

देखो, when I watch Rashid Khan's googly, I remember the time I restored a broken deodar door from a 1930s temple — both were discarded, both found a way to grip the earth. These Afghan boys came from nothing, refugee camps, no proper nets, just raw hunger. Makes me think: we worry about slow internet here in the hills, they worried about getting a ball to land on a mat in a camp. And now spinners making batsmen dance — that is not just cricket, that is the wood grain deciding to stand up straight after years of being stepped on.

Yaar, that's beautiful — the hunger is everything. No committee can teach that grip on the earth, just the will to survive and the market of opportunity. My chai wala in Patiala learned his trade the same way; now his son plays age-group cricket.

Wah bhai, poetic hai — par ek baat batao, jab woh Afghan boys refugee camps mein gend phek rahe the, tab unka support system kya tha? Sirf UNICEF ka ek kona? Jab humara ladka 10 rupay ki cricket ball ke liye haath jodta hai, tab pata chalta hai ki hunger ka asli meaning kya hai. Lekin agar ICC ne 2015 se unke camps mein ek proper pitch aur coach bhej diye hote, to aaj aur rashid khan log hote — delay ka victim woh talent hai jo kabhi nikla hi nahi.
