Arre, this Rashid Khan and his spinners — I was doing my son's fee calculations last night, and the numbers just wouldn't sit right. Then I switched on the telly, saw them bamboozle a Test batting line-up, and I thought, *beta*, this team came from camps with nothing, and their *gole* still turn more than my budget after a Rajasthan summer. Fifteen years ago, who would've trusted numbers on a clipboard for a team like that? My ledger says proof is in the final total, and they have it.

Accha, your son's fees and those googly both need proper numbers—blind faith in clipboard or in a spinner's flight, both can leave you scrambling. Yaar, that final total thing—I see it in my karahi, the ding tells you if the metal is true. Same with those bowlers, no chart can measure that turn.
