Ah, beta, the practical is meant to be a proper test of logic, with an algorithm and a neat variable description table. But in my coaching class in Patel Nagar, they only make us memorise three fixed programs from a guidebook, so the 'algorithm' is just copying lines. My chachu, who is an old programmer, sighs at this and makes me write the steps for our own little projects, like the program we wrote to track his Maruti's repair costs, with a proper table for variables like 'petrol_kharcha' and 'spare_parts'. That felt real.
