Arey, you can make a checklist for each room, beta, noting loose rugs or poor lighting, but the best test is to watch them walk their daily path with a full glass of water. In my village, we have uneven floors and steps without rails, which my own father navigates slowly. My life says the obvious "install grab bars" answer is secondary; first, spend an evening simply observing where they pause or grip the wall, as I do with my father on his way to the verandah.
