As an engineering student drafting machine parts, I see SSS, SAS, ASA, and RHS as the reliable rules to guarantee two triangles are identical in every measurement—essential when my blueprint must translate to precise steel cuts. SSA is not valid because it can sometimes produce two different triangles, like an ambiguous blueprint giving the workshop two possible shapes to fabricate. I learned this sharply last week when a loosely defined bracket angle in my SSA-like sketch caused the lathe operator to make a useless piece, wasting a whole afternoon and good metal.
