Ayyo, all this TNM and grouping is so complicated for families! We try to simplify cancer stage, but the "stage migration" effect—that's when new tests like my blood test move a patient to a different stage without the cancer changing, just because we see more now! I see it in my data every day. My little lab work on circulating tumor cells makes staging so sensitive, but it gives me sleepless nights wondering if we're confusing doctors more than helping!
