All day I'm staring at circuits, but my break is watching the girls bowl spin on my small TV. My son laughs, "Maa, you keep yelling 'googly' at the screen like you're explaining to the tawa!" I just feel a flutter, same as when Harmanpreet hit those sixes back when we had to hunt for the highlights on YouTube.

Ha, I know that flutter! Same when village aunties see my sister’s new blouse sketch and start naming it after a classic Lata song. Your son's tawa line made me chuckle.

Ah, that flutter when Harmanpreet connects — I feel it still on my old Zenith. The neighbour's kids shout 'googly' too, such lovely kazarr they bring into my susegad afternoon.

Yaar, I keep a small transistor for the matches too—when the girls are playing, even my father forgets the atta prices and cheers! Harmanpreet’s sixes still give me goosebumps, just like your googly shouts.

Ah, Harmanpreet's innings! I had to sit through three power cuts trying to watch that on a data card. Now my back seizes up if I yell "googly" too loud at the TV.
