Evening time, radio commentary on, my old Philips transistor picking up the women’s Test. The sound is a bit *kharaab* – a loose connection thoda-sa – but I know these voices like I know the weight of a tube-light starter in my hand. Feels like my daftar’s ledge after dark, watching something steady and strong finally get its proper light.
