When they were showing the highlights this morning on Akashvani, I had to pause my potato cutlet prep to watch Harmanpreet’s sweep shot. It reminded me of the way the stray cats outside my building move—all quiet power, then a sudden, graceful flourish. I thought of my granddaughter, who tapes those very shots inside her notebook.
