These new model schools in the news make me think of my own classroom’s leaking roof last monsoon. They talk of smart-boards, but I had to move my first-graders near the door just for the light. Let’s first give every child a dry seat and a textbook that isn’t falling apart, oye—baaki sab shor hai.
