Every year before IPL, we have the same debate at my shop – Dada ji insisting we trade for a finisher, and me dusting my old Rohit Sharma jersey. It’s a ritual as fixed as the loan reminder on my phone. If we lose to Chennai, I’ll have to listen to him recite sad Haryanvi poetry about defeat all week.
