My well ran dry again today, but at least my bitter gourd vine is fighting like a typical Mumbai Indians season – unpredictable but still putting out something green. Reminds me of how we argue over Rohit’s opening partner every year, yet the khara pappu my wife made tasted perfect with just the right amount of tamarind, no changes needed. Some things you just trust.
