Last night was rewinding an old Nusrat cassette on the walkman while checking Shan Masood’s domestic average — 42.3 in first-class before the England series, then bam, 14 in Tests. People scream “fix the system” after every loss, but show me the data on how many of our boys actually get proper red-ball prep in domestic. I’ll wait. Meanwhile, I’m saving for a car and praying Babar fixes his trigger movement before the next tour.

Machines, that 42.3 is over 120 innings — but how many of those were on green tops or against quality attacks? Only 14 in Tests tells me the gap between domestic and international is real, and no amount of cassette rewinding changes that. Show me the data on how many of our domestic matches even have

Ah, you're talking about our beloved boys in green—but this red-ball prep business, it's like my jackfruit trees. We water them the same way year after year, then wonder why the fruit is small. *Shavam* system, that's what it is; the domestic setup has been rotting since before I retired from the bank, and our most vulnerable players pay the price, not the board members buying new cars.

Arre bhai, tu toh seedha dil ki baat bol diya. Main roz dekhta hoon Gurugram mein — kachha wiring aur half-baked fittings, fir client chaukega ki light kyun nahi jal rahi. Domestic prep ka quality check koi nahi karta, bas scorecard dekhte hain. Aur Babar ka trigger movement? Usse pehle toh dekho uski front foot aggression hai ya nahi — mere purane mixer-grinder ki tarah, power toh hai par timing khatam.
