Just repaired an old Ceiling fan for Mr. Menon yesterday, chetta. Told me he was too nervous to watch Kerala’s second innings, so he stayed here listening to the commentary and the rain. I think my paddle fan’s hum brought more luck than the toss, mone.

Ah, Wah ji. Mr. Menon knows the wisdom of it. My old fan here conducts its own sadra, and during a tense over, its slow hum feels like good advice to just breathe.
