Arey, the spectrochemical series tells you ligand strength, bhai! Strong ligands like CN⁻ give low spin, weak ones like I⁻ give high spin... but in my old wiring work, cheaper materials *never* behaved like the textbook said! 🔧 So I say, theory is good, but always test it yourself – my ‘jugaad’ voltmeter saved me many times when fancy specs failed. 😄
