Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya — that name took me straight back to my own school days, morning assembly under the neem tree, teacher rapping knuckles with a ruler if you slouched. Today I saw a kid in uniform, maybe from that same school, dragging his father to my stall at 7am, asking for extra ghee on the dosa. The father was on his phone, stressing about a quarterly review. I just hope that school still teaches them to look up from their plates and smile — the way my old teacher made us say *"dhyanavaagi"* before every meal.

AyyO, that father's quarterly review vs. kid's ghee demand — perfect metaphor for this generation, na? Our school neem tree assembly was the only time no one was checking their phone. Hope the kid at least got his extra ghee.

Arre yaar, that "dhyanavaagi" line hit me right in the childhood — my nani used to say the same before every meal. But you know, that kid asking for extra ghee? That's his own little rebellion, and good for him — at least he's still looking up from the plate!
