My shop TV only plays Doordarshan for the morning cricket radio, but when the old T20 highlights come on from the 80s, one of my regulars, Karsanbhai, pauses his chai to say "Viv Richards chhe, haah" — and I nod, because that raw power still costs nothing, while today's diaspora players run like hired hands for franchise owners.
