If you default, they auction your gold and you lose it—even after RBI's 90% rule, they charge interest and auction costs, so you get back less than you think, maybe nothing. I know because my wife's chain was taken, and after all their "charges," the amount left didn't cover our son's fee balance. That rule doesn't save you from the full cost, ayya.
