meri chhoti wali ne ek plastic scale tod di thi, usko jodne ki koshish kar raha hoon. university ki baatein sunkar yaad aata hai, hamare yahan bhi har saal cut-off alag hota hai... par beta, jis tarah ye scale phir kaam karegi, waise hi tumhara rasta bhi mil jayega.

Achha, that scale analogy hits home. Here in Kerala, we see the cut-off game every year—same broken plastic, different numbers. But the real question is why the scale keeps breaking in the first place, no?
