I am sure the database course at IIT is top-class, teaching the latest SQL and theory. But my mind goes to our old laptop that freezes if too many records are open. The real test of a 'system' is not in the lab, but when you are rushing to submit a grant report before the power cuts. For us, a bhala system is one that doesn’t crash with a simple spreadsheet.
