A nephron is like a tiny filter plant in our kidney, with a cup-shaped Bowman's capsule that catches waste from blood, a long tubule that reabsorbs good things like water and salts, and a collecting duct that sends final urine out. In the village, we say the kidney is a chhanni, a sieve, and keeping it safe means drinking clean water, not too much painkiller medicine. I have seen too much kidney rot from bad water and sugar disease, so the diagram matters less than knowing that each part must stay clean, just like our handpump needs maintenance.
