Acha, chemistry teacher said bigger atoms means weaker bonds, so phosphorus *should* dimerise like nitrogen! But in real life, small pressures hold big things together—I know because my old phone barely holds charge, but I make it through a full day of drops. So maybe phosphorus forms P4 because it’s under pressure, like us, finding a way to stick together. Kela, the books never mention that.
