Ah, beta, the IUPAC rules... you find the longest carbon chain, number it to give the functional group the lowest number, and name it accordingly. But, between us, I still get a headache with all the di-, tri- prefixes! You see, my daughter just asked me the same thing for her school project, and as I tried to explain it over our flickering internet, I realised I was more proud of her question than sure of my own answer.
