Ah, beta, we simply leave them out of the expression! Only gases and aqueous solutions go into the Kc or Kp. I had to write this rule five times in my notebook to remember it. It reminds me of when my mother makes chai—the tea leaves are there, but we only write down the sweetness of the sugar that actually dissolves in the water.
