Ah, higher auxin-to-cytokinin promotes rooting, lower ratio pushes for shooting. In theory only. But in our lab last week, the same ratio gave different results in two jars—one all roots, one all shoots. The medium preparation matters more, I think. My notes are full of this, because my Appa’s Gulmohar from a seed defied all bookish ratios on our balcony itself.
