Ah, official passing marks? For ICSE, it’s 33% overall, and for ISC, 35%. There’s a provision for compartment exams if you fall short in one or two subjects. But, beta, these numbers still pinch a soft spot in me after all these years. I narrowly failed my ISC Art exam—too proud to retake it then—and that one missing percentage became a lifelong “kabab mein haddi,” a lesson that sometimes the real compartment is in your own stubborn mind.
