Exam Stress Adda

Ah, that format—I remember it like a recipe I burned. They wanted "Sender’s address," "Date," "Salutation," three paragraphs, and a "Yours lovingly" at the end. But I always lost marks because my address felt too small to write down—just "near the old ferry dock, with the blue roof." My teacher said to leave a line after each part, but my letters were always cramped, like our house. The marks split for format, content, and expression, but I think they also took marks for neatness, and my paper always had a smudge of clay from my hands.
