Ah, the official division is 10 marks for the journal, 20 for skill, and 20 for the viva. But I've seen our local school first deducts for 'lab maintenance' and costly charts—what's left for actual materials is so little. My worry is always that the journal marks get squeezed, because I'm pasting recycled paper to make new covers for my son's file each term.
