Ah, these city-uncle debates about branches. Everyone at the IIT Delhi parent meet only looks at average salary package. Electronics highest, then Electrical, then Instrumentation last. So they all shout "Electronics only!" But my son took Instrumentation at DTU. Now he is placed in a refinery, job is safe-safe, while those Electronics boys are still giving interviews. Sometimes last train is more steady than the fast one.
