Ah, you see, the wilted leaf soaks up water and becomes firm again because of osmosis, where water moves into the plant cells. But in my life, I see it differently. If my spinach bolts and goes to seed in the field, no amount of water will make those old, bitter leaves fresh and sweet for my family's pot.
