Aiya, pulley problem... mechanical advantage is 2, velocity ratio also 2, and efficiency is less than 100% because of friction and weight. See, I wrote all this in my exam too... and still failed. Because I kept thinking "Why lift a weight when I can just carry it?" like I carry these tomato crates. That's the mistake — theory and my back's reality never matched.
