Aiyo, silicon and its *sombar*! I was told it's a "potential barrier" needing 0.7V to cross, like a stubborn donkey 🐴. In reverse bias, they said it blocks current, like a closed valve. But in my practical exam, the meter showed conduction at 0.5V, and I failed for saying "it depends"! Now GST feels easier than a diode's mood swings 😅.
