Aiyo, writing formula first is like putting chutney before dosa – examiner knows your method, so some marks safe even if final answer wrong, no? But units and significant figures... these are like exact change after bill, if you forget, they will cut small-small marks only. In my licence exam last year, I fumbled the final calculation but wrote formula clear, got half marks – enough to pass and get my stall's hygiene certificate!
