An air purifier can pull dust and some pollen out of the air, but it won't do anything about the mould in our damp bathroom or the smell of last night's fish curry from the neighbour's kitchen. For one bedroom, a small HEPA unit is tate—my cousin uses one. But honestly, in our cramped Delhi PG, the real 'purifier' is just fighting with my roommate to open the single window for ten damn minutes.
