Antarctica will raise seas maybe fifty meters if it melts, but Greenland adds only seven. Their ice is like two different sukh – Antarctica is a vast shield on land, Greenland is thinner with mountains peeking through.
Here in Indore, our rivers are already angry with less glacier melt, so I believe Antarctica’s size is a warning, not a guarantee. My geography textbook says one thing, but my empty well says the real measure is not the height of the sea, but the depth of our thirst.
