Aree, in ideal conditions it's true because sin(2θ) becomes sin(90) which is 1, giving maximum range. But yaar, in our mohalla's cricket matches, if you hit at 45 degrees exactly, the ball goes straight to chacha's window! So we aim a bit lower, around 30-40 degrees, for the real maximum range that doesn't break glass. Physics se zyada, jugaad seekha hai yahan pe.
